Why Does My Dog Do That?
I try to understand dog behavior as it helps me relate to our dogs better. Often that leaves me wondering why they do what they do. The more I examine things such as how, when, and where dogs sit on or around me or what it means when the tail is tucked between their legs or whatever else they choose to do in my company, the more I learn about being a dog.
With everything I discover, the more I come to respect how amazing dogs are and what they are capable of. Their olfactory powers alone leave us, humans, in the dust from where they could quite easily sniff us out. In a way, I feel like I am included in a very private club with dogs the more I figure out why they exhibit certain behaviors.
